Blogging to the Bank – Flipping Blogs

One great technique that I learned from Blogging to the Bank was how to flip blogs. This is basically the same thing as flipping real estate, only using websites instead. What I didn’t know was how quickly one could turn a new blog into a profit. There are certain techniques that Rob lays out in Blogging to the Bank, which discuss certain specific steps that you must complete in order to guarantee that you will see a return on investment.

For instance, instead of buying a new domain, Rob suggests that you purchase a domain that already has some age to it, as well as some PageRank. Of course, prices will vary depending on the quality of the domain name and the age. There is no reason why you can’t get a decent domain name for $35 bucks or less. Once you do, all you have to do is follow Rob’s proven techniques to get the blog ready to be flipped. I know, because I have done it many times since buying Rob’s book.

I have flipped over 20 domains and have made a gross income of more than $5,000.00 doing so. I know it doesn’t sound like a ton of money, but that is great money that can be rolled back into my permanent blogs that will make me residual income for life. Rob shows you how to take a new blog and get it to the point where it earns enough affiliate money to garnish a good bid on a site auction block. Once the blog has raked in a certain amount of money, say $50.00 in affiliate earnings, then you take the site and prepare to sell it.

Rob has a whole chapter on selling these sites for a nice profit; there are numerous techniques that you can try as a variation on the theme. Maybe flipping blogs is not your thing, but it can sure help finance other projects that you may have, and that is a good reason why you should get Blogging to the Bank and start utilizing Rob’s techniques.
